About Me
The Art
Art, for me, is a language beyond words — a way to express emotion, memory, and human experience through form, color, and story. Each of my paintings is a journey into the unseen — a visual narrative where emotions, dreams, and fragments of everyday life come together in symbolic harmony.
Artistic roots
My artistic roots trace back to my early education in Gobelin tapestry and fine arts in Georgia, which taught me the value of patience, detail, and storytelling. Later, my studies in costume design deepened my understanding of texture, silhouette, and the interplay between character and visual identity. These influences are woven into my work — whether through fabric-like layering in my paintings, or the theatrical undertones that often emerge in my subjects.
Places, languages, and roles
Having lived in both Georgia and Germany, my work reflects a blend of cultures, memories, and perspectives. The transition between places, languages, and roles — artist, designer, mother, teacher — has shaped my creative voice into one that seeks connection, depth, and truth.
I believe every artwork holds a story — sometimes subtle, sometimes bold — but always personal. My goal is not only to share what I see and feel, but to invite the viewer into their own reflection and discovery.
